Sertraline and your teeth
Generic name: Sertraline · Class: SSRI antidepressant
Sertraline (Zoloft) is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor used for depression, anxiety, and OCD.
SSRIs frequently cause dry mouth, which sounds minor but is one of the strongest drivers of cavities in otherwise healthy adults. SSRIs are also linked to nighttime teeth grinding in some patients.
